Unit 2, Cei Llechi

Gola was founded during the 2020 lockdown, both Mari and Ifan (a mother and son collaboration) found themselves living under the same roof. Ironically the lockdown periods unlocked creativity and enterprise in both of them. Ifan is a graphic designer and Mari is an author and was previously Artistic Director of Galeri, Caernarfon.

Mari and Ifan shared ideas during this period and began a business creating and manufacturing unique lampshades, originally from a pink shed in their garden. Each lampshade is hand crafted with love and it’s a process which both of them cherish.

They believe that listening to their customers is vital and their aim is to create beautiful designs full of personality; quality craftmanship and provide a unique product of the highest quality possible.
