Est 1984. Four decades of qualified professional photography with books on royal coffee tables after being purchased for the wedding of Prince William & Katherine Middleton.
Oriel Glyn Davies Gallery was established in 2002 on Anglesey, but Glyn’s career as a full-time professional photographer began in 1984, including four years in higher education at Falmouth School of Art and University of Westminster, London. Originally an editorial & documentary photographer, he worked for national magazines and commercial clients for over two decades, but Glyn started to concentrate more intensively on his personal landscape work. Since 2022, when he started year-round cold-water swimming, Glyn has lately become increasingly immersed in seascapes and spends much of his time in or near the ocean.
These images can be seen online and, in his gallery. They are available as immaculately printed archival edition prints, for gallery visitors and art collectors worldwide. His prints are contained within several public collections, including the BBC, Bangor University, North Wales Fire Service, Betsi Cadwaladr NHS Trust. Glyn has published five photo-books of his work, available from his gallery.
Glyn's latest gallery at Cei Llechi Artisan Shopping Centre in Caernarfon, contains hundreds of beautifully crafted, artistic, photographic landscape prints of North Wales. Online he showcases over 3000 images including other parts of the UK and abroad. His prints are available in 6 sizes, so once you find an image you love, he can print it in any of those sizes, often whilst you wait.
